At present, it is the period of the "Fourth" industrial revolution and industrial revolution and the intersection of China’s economic tranformation.Chinese manufacturing enterprises obtain a broad market space for development.The profits of the enterprise space is becoming more and more small because of the rising raw material prices,the increasing labor costs and the falling product prices. "Made in China" is a double squeeze from the developed countries’ advanced technical barriers and the cost advantages of developing countries.The core idea of lean production is to eliminate any unnecessary waste.The implementation of lean production is the inevitable choice if manufacturing enterprises want to overcome difficulties and enhance competitiveness.KC is a company specializing in the production of railway passenger car business, products sold at home and abroad.The company,in order to enhance the competitiveness,achieved certain results after the implementation of lean production,and lay the foundation for the enterprise to face the fierce competition in the market.This paper firstly introduces the research background and significance,and the current research situation of lean production;briefly introduces the main contents and research methods of the research in this paper.Secondly,the theoretical system of lean production, including the origin, concept, connotation and basic tools and techniques of lean production, is introduced in detail.Then,it combines with the actual situation of KC company and analysis the necessity of the introduction of lean production.On the basis of analysis of current production mode and the production site in the pre-assembly workshop in-depth research, pointing out that the feasibility of implementing lean production in the pre-assembly workshop by SWOT.Combining with One Stream Production,VSM,Pull Production,TPM,to explain the corresponding improvement measures, elaborated the concrete implementation process.Further more,with the summary of implementing Lean Production,a viewpoint put forward: Large state-owned equipment manufacturing enterprises,such as KC company, want to obtain the considerable development, resist the domestic and foreign enterprise competition, the implementation of lean production is a must.Success in implementing Lean Production owes to the combining of their own actual situation,formulating feasible scheme.Lean production is a process of continuous improvement. The lean thinking integrates into a part of corporate culture Only by obtaining high-level support, the establishment of specialized agencies, full participation,implementing lean production from small to big, from the shallower to the deeper, can the lean thinking integrate into a part of corporate culture.
