VIP fashion customization is preferred by numerous female consumers due to its personalized design, one-to-one humanized service and so on. However, the more expanding of VIP customization in the diversification of female’s fashion customization enterprise, the worse revealing of negative effects in the process that the expectant results of design are successful. It is an essential prerequisite for design management to guarantee the design of VIP fashion customization from going down. Besides, design management requiring fully respect the main characteristic of the VIP female and the potential change of consumer psychology of the female in new era. Only in this way can the aim and principle of design management appeal to the design and service in VIP fashion customization.The aim of design management is to appeal to development of fashion customization enterprise and requirements from VIP consumers. In the new environment of modern society, adaptation of design strategy depends on effects of external environment. Also,the change of requirements from VIP consumers depends on the development of the individual mind under the influence of social environment. Therefore, custom design is not the creation that has no boundary, but the creation of design based on the cross-cutting areas to meet the required design from strategy of enterprise and VIP consumers. Of course, problems arise from custom design, such as still in the market position, lack in design communication, gap in management implementation, lack of personnel training and so on. These problems can be improved by seizing the key points of design and service delivery based on the elementary principle of design management.The thesis deeply analyze and explore related issues of design management in the process of practice in customization enterprise by combining with qualitative analysis and using the ways to literature investigation, interviews and questionnaires, etc. One hand, limitations of management in the practical case are analyzed on its application in detail by the principle of design management. On the other hand, the thesis summarizes negative factors of VIP fashion custom design and service process. It also put forward feasible suggestions on design management. It can be academic reference for Women’s VIP fashion customization enterprises.
