With integration of our country and the world the extent of economic gradually increases and the world economy continuously develops,most China's manufacturing industries have been gradually from traditional high-volume manufacturing shift to mass customization.At the same time,because the entire world economy becomes more sophisticated,customer's demand becomes diversity,complexity,and personalized from a single demand.The design and production's requirements of the manufacturing cycle also get higher and higher.Questions and opportunities appears at the same time,which enterprises in their respective fields solve the problem of concern to these customers,it means that becomes a successful example of the industry.In the World the success of mass customization type of well-known company such as DELL:Express to rely on the design and development, standardization of services(including delivery of products and services) quickly became the winner of the personal computer industry.And design development for mass customization as the most core aspect,related to the elements of the quality of the product meets customer's needs,and related to the design to manufacture the entire cost at controllable scope,related to the production cycle,whether at the expected the scope and rich competitiveness.The above factors indicate that design and development are the core of mass customization aspect.The Six Sigma process and methodology of design and development as a progressive method in the world 500 best enterprises of the Six Sigma management of the rise of the core,providing a large number of operational and concrete instrument for the development of the whole design flow management.Therefore,the combination of Six Sigma design and development processes,through specific,standardized design and development process will design a large-scale development methods for further optimizing and improving,that is the significance of this study.In this paper,first the basic theory of mass customization,mass customization design and development of basic models and basic theory of Six Sigma Design and Development conducted a study on mass customization are discussed in the introduction of Six Sigma enterprise design and development required to provide the external environment as well as the combination of the offspring to advantage; through the mass customization of the key technology tools and Six Sigma design and development of the key instrument of comparison,on a large-scale customization and Six Sigma design and development technology feasibility.Then discusses the development process Design for Six Sigma(IDDOV),and each aspect should be focused on the content description;and in the fourth chapter to a large-scale introduction of Six Sigma enterprise custom design and development of the actual case that empirical studies;of large scale development of custom design their own tools and Six Sigma design and development of many tools provided to compare notes;Finally,to sum up this article and look at the prospects for further research directions.The focus of this paper raised the question of how mass customization in the process of design development flow into Six Sigma and Six Sigma design and development provided many tools and mass customization tools to compare notes and, in conjunction with the application.In the second chapter of the basic theoretical research,the proposed large-scale enterprises in the import customized Six Sigma processes before design and development provided by the external environment; ChapterⅢdiscusses the mass customization into Design for Six Sigma enterprise development process steps and the instrument can be used;ChapterⅣin order to validate the case for mass customization enterprises into Six Sigma design and development of the feasibility and advantages of flow;ChapterⅤcompared mass customization have accumulated technology and Six Sigma tools for instrument design and development technology the similarities and differences between points; Finally summing up the significance of this study and look forward to further research directions.Design for Six Sigma through the development process for mass customization in the actual decomposition of the enterprise and the use of mass customization for other companies to further the introduction of Six Sigma design and development processes,design and development to enhance the efficiency and level design and development to reduce costs,provide a help.
