Research On The Path Of The New Urbanization Based On The "Million Hectares Of Fertile Farmland Project"

Million hectares of fertile farmland project is a new experiment of land policy innovation in Jiangsu Province, it aims to alleviate the pressure of land resources and re-integrate various resources on rural land, in order to achieve the expansion of urban development, accelerate the transformation of agricultural development and improve the high speed development of the rural economy. Such land policy must be an important part of the construction of the new type of urbanization. It relates greatly to other agricultural policies and land projects. This paper takes Gonghe Town, Hongze County for example, conducts site visits, understands and grasps the general operating methods of fertile land project like Northern part of Jiangsu Province, researches and analyses highlights and shortages of the project operation process. Besides, it investigates the impacts of million hectares of fertile farmland project on the new urbanization process based on the research, in order to provide a theoretical reference about the land policy for the region and the similar areas.
