In the development of informatization, the hydropower enterprise has carried out many software projects. These projects involve many departments with various majors to participate in. Such software projects have high requirements to quickly apply software products in design and construction. Software projects have features that is complicated and flexible. It is hard to manage software projects in the hydropower enterprise which is mainly focus on design business. Therefore, hydropower enterprises require to use project management to precisely control software projects and solve issues which turn up in schedule control in the fast development.In this article, the research is concentrated on schedule management theories and the unique features of software projects compared to traditional ones. With analysis of framework and current software project management problems in the hydropower enterprise, the article will define these issues which block the efficient management in the Digital Engineering and Information Technology Center of the A enterprise.The research in this article is based on the digital and electrical platform project with secondary development and implementation, which is a typical case in Digital Engineering and Information Technology Center of A enterprise. The digital and electrical platform project has applied integrated project management to have a comprehensive control, especially focused on the schedule management. The research applies project management methods to break down tasks and to implement techniques including PERT, CPM and EVM. With the detailed analysis in the process of plan management and change management, the project explores the EVM to dynamically monitor schedule and cost. The research also considers EV in critical path, which could identify the deviation comes from the critical path or non-critical path to precisely predict project status in schedule and cost, and help project members to have a better understanding of the project operation and to take measures.The project schedule has effectively controlled.The research concludes the methods in project management which can fit in the A enterprise to operate research and development projects. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Software management, Schedule management, EV, CP, Digitization | | Related items |
