As a kind of agricultural products, the demand for dairy products is higher and higher. the liquid milk market at present in Shanxi Province is mainly composed of Erie, mengniu and other major brands, another ancient city of Shanxi brand accounts for a small part, but on the whole is saturated. Compared with domestic large and medium-sized city, its production of pasteurized milk belows the national average significantly, but with the consumers’ consciousness strengthening, more and more people are realizing the advantages of pasteurized milk, many people are more willing to buy pasteurized milk. Take this opportunity, the project plans to create a new phase of the annual output of 30000 tons of dairy products processing factory, mainly producting pasteurized milk and yogurt, to promote the development of the province’s milk.How is the feasibility of this project? How to make effective project and implementation plan? What measures should be taken to prevent possible risks and to improve the project becomes a problem. Therefore, the thesis research has practical significance.In this paper, we take A Cow Breeding Limited Company as a case, deals with the research background in chapter1; covers the theory of project management, risk management theory, and its present situation at home and abroad in section2; analyzes the feasibility in terms of business needs, and demand forecasting in chapter3; treats the project plan, project implementation, possible risks and coping strategies in the following chapters. At last, we make a summary and prospect. Through this practice, we enrich the theoretical knowledge of project management and risk management.
