With the liberalization, privatization and globalization of economy, the competitive of Air Compressor industry is more fierce. Customer centric is the trend that enterprise aimed to pursue profit growing and market expanding. Solutionizing business is one of the products with the emerging of customizing products. Customer centric business environment in industries, it is always paramount importance to critically analyze the flow of business process with changing market scenario.R Company is a long-established company with over 100 years of Air Compressor production, which is now facing the challenge of realigning its business strategy to keep or strengthen its market base. While making forays into new business areas, of the many initiatives taken so far, the one that holds the key to its revolution is the successful implementation of BPR.This paper is based on a lot of researches of BPR theory and by considering the business process flow of Solutionizing business of R Company including quotation follow up、contract audit、project implementation, with the tool of project time management, reengineer the business process and organization. This paper studies following items:First, systematically discuss the BPR theory in respect of origin、concept、literature researches、development and other theory related to BPR. Second, Review the business process of Solutionizing business and organization of R Company, identify the bottleneck、non-value-added steps during operating; the obstacle of information flow, difficulty in synergy and indistinct responsibility due to the functional organizational structure. Third, instructed by the steps of BPR, the project team confirmed core process of Solutionizing business process, make the target、 strategy、methodology of reengineering, and with the tools of project time management, implement the process reengineering. Redesign the functional organizational structure into process-oriented organizational structure. Finally, this paper evaluate the process reengineering implementation。The great improvement in working efficiency is achieved in respect to quotation follow up、contract audit、project delivery and customer satisfaction due to business process reengineering.This paper implement business process reengineering literally, best practice achieved in the Solutionizing business process reengineering.
