Agricultural science and technology innovation and progress, has become improve overall agricultural production capacity, improve the overall quality of the agricultural economy, increase farmers’ incomes decisive factor. Therefore, construction of new socialist countryside, accelerate the process of building a well in rural areas, we must strengthen technological advances in agriculture, the farmers increase agricultural efficiency and rural development truly shifted to relying on technological progress and improve the quality of agricultural laborers track.Now, with China’s agricultural science and technology to accelerate the pace of innovation, a number of key areas and major technology and other aspects of the research has made important progress, and constantly improve the level of achievements into applications, and steadily improve the scientific and technological progress in agricultural growth in the contribution rate. But in the current Zhenjiang fast-growing population is increasing demand for agricultural products, the demand structure to changing circumstances, as the special agricultural use value of agricultural products facing new opportunities in today’s difficult circumstances farmers whose income potential can not be neglected.In this study, from the income of farmers historical development and current status of Zhenjiang, analyzes changes in farmers’ income background and historical process, pointing out that science and technology in Zhenjiang Despite the contribution rate gradually increased, but compared with the developed areas there are still large gap still exists great potential space; through contributions of science and technology to farmers mechanism analysis, analysis of science and technology for farmers to increase the principle and mechanism of action; developed areas through the use of agricultural technology, agricultural science and technology promotion and service system in comparison analysis of the current gaps in Zhenjiang, Zhenjiang presented in promoting agricultural development, farmers must rely on aspects of agricultural growth pattern and direction of agricultural science and technology.
