Energy is an important material basis of the economic development, which also ensures historical progress and Improve people’s living standards.Since the reforming and opening up, China has achieved rapid economic development, industrial structure has changed greatly. Economic development, especially industrialization and urbanization has brought a lot of energy consumption, not only resulted in China’s energy supply and demand contradiction, but increasingly serious environmental pollution, because these problems with China’s industrial structure is irrational and energy efficiency less relevant. Therefore, this paper attempts from the perspective of industrial structure, to achieve by gray correlation analysis, factor analysis and energy intensity decomposition method, etc. panel data econometric analysis of industrial structure change impact of energy consumption on the empirical analysis, by optimizing the industrial structure of our country based on saving reference.According to the research goals, this paper analyzes the status quo of China’s industrial structure and energy consumption, through the evolution of the three industries and development trend analysis, the overall energy consumption of the three industries are summarized analysis and the analysis of energy consumption, China’s current draw irrational industrial structure and energy consumption, especially in energy-intensive industries within industry consume too much energy.Secondly, from a national perspective, the amount of total and Efficiency of the relationship between industrial structure and energy consumption, total energy consumption and energy consumption of each terminal to analyze gray correlation derived, according to the size of the place is in turn is related degree : industry, transportation, construction, other industries, domestic energy consumption, wholesale and retail trade and accommodation and catering industry, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery and water conservancy sector, the greater the degree of correlation, then its energy consumption trend of 2000- between 2013 and China Energy the trend of total consumption closer. And another important factor affecting energy consumption is energy efficiency, through the use of pull factor decomposition method, put our country in 2000- decomposition energy intensity in 2013 into structure share and efficiency share, then the structure of share and efficiency share is calculated on. The results showed that: In recent years, China’s energy intensity reduced mainly due to various industrial energy efficiency, wherein the second industrial energy efficiency are the main factors have contributed to China’s energy intensity decreased. Therefore, to reduce the intensity of China’s energy consumption, is to enhance the efficiency of our energy use, we must pay attention to the role of technology to improve the technical level of each industry. Finally, starting from a regional perspective, based 2000--2012 panel data constructed to energy consumption as the dependent variable, with industrial structure, economic development, technological progress and population growth as the independent variable econometric model to study the Eastern China region, the central region and the western region industrial structure effect of changes in energy consumption. Research findings show that the impact of the regional industrial structure of energy consumption is different.
