Research On Shanghai Fructose Project Management Of COFCO

In recent years, China began to guarantee food safety and food security, COFCO is one of the key enterprises of State-owned assets,specially focus on food security. Starch is an important raw material for the food industry in China,it is a useful complement to the daily consumption of sugar. Corn is a rich resources in China, the increase of corn provide is a basis for the development of starch sugar. F-55 fructose is an important kind of starch, so this project is good for price stabilization of sugar.Shanghai fructose project organized by COFCO Rongs CO., who is not familiar with new project construction. The research of project construction process need to be done. This project management theory and methods used in practice, can provide data analysis to support its decision making, reduce the workload of project progress management, and improves work efficiency.This project is located in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Zhoushan economic regional centre. The Yangtze River Delta region is the forefront of domestic food industry, has a great potential for growth at the same time. A lot of well-known foreign brand want to seize the market in Shanghai. In that case, we get a lot of opportunities and challenges, and market orientation and scale of construction is a significant part of this project.The heavy investment and long term construction make the project unpredicatebility, the undertaker has to face lots of risks. The risk identification and prevention measure should be researched, in order to ensure progress of the construction. Based on the research of risk management theory, this paper proposed risk identification, assessment, risk analysis, and the response of the project.This paper has some research and analyses about Project Schedule Management, market orientation and Project Risk Management of Shanghai fructose project. It submits detailed opinion on the key points of above-mentionde three by using the professional tool of Project Management. The solution what we got has played an important role in the successful completion of this project.
