With the development of human resources management and strategic human resource management theory, more and more scholars study the relationship between high performance work systems(HPWS) and organizational performance.But how does HPWS impact performance in the Chinese context, this issue has not been solved. Scholars believe that the most critical problem in business environment is how high performance work systems impact employee attitudes and behavior, because only improving employee attitudes and abilities can we promote the organizational performance. In order to solve this problem, from the theoretical perspective of social exchange theory this study researches the relationship between employees’ work efficiency and high performance work systems under China’s situation by using case interview and questionnaire survey and other research methods, such as correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis method.This research mainly got the following results:(1) high performance work systems has positive impact on employees’ performance, but different dimensions of high performance work system have different impact on employees work efficiency;(2) high performance work systems has positive impact on leaders members exchange, but different dimensions of HPWS have different impact on leaders members exchange;(3) leaders members exchange plays a partial intermediary role between HPWS and employee performance.Based on the above results, this study got the following conclusions:(1) to attach great importance to the synergistic effect of human resources system;(2) to get more line manager involved in human resources management;(3) to give employees more development space and the opportunities of autonomous decision-making;...
