High-performance work System is one of the critical parts in the study of the strategic human resources management. Being came out by the Western scholars since twenties century of eighties and nineties, It drew many attentions. Scholars at home and abroad have done extensive research on HPWS, and made many valuable research results. However, there are many different viewpoints for the concept and structure of HPWS among the academic world. In addition, the methods and the way to research are variant. So they had contradictive conclusions from their researches. However, those previous research outcomes are beneficial to and are valuable to the current researchers for studying HPWS. Nowadays, there is a few of HPWS research for high-tech enterprises. The target research is high-tech enterprises in Nan tong. Studying the relationship between HPWS and performance of organization through the empirical study, it finally came up with a solution, and it is investigated in the following.First, through studying the previous research outcomes, and combined with the actual state of high-tech enterprises in Nan tong, the questionnaire is prepared, it will be assessed, distributed to the relevant high-tech enterprises and gathered through many channels.Second, the questionnaire needs to be sorted out, Delete the invalid ones, and to analyze the valid data by qualitative and quantitative analysis. It needs to be exploratory factor analyzed, project analyzed, factor analyzed, and credit analyzed.Finally, Combined with the HPWS theory, it has the conclusion through relevant and hierarchical regression. And there are recommendations and opinions for the HPWS for high-tech enterprises in Nan tong.The conclusions for this investigation are in the following.The First, It reveals the structure of HPWS for high-tech enterprises in Nan tong.The Second, The relation of HPWS and organizational performance is obvious different among different industries. The enterprises should focus on the different characteristics of themselves for building HPWS.The Third, High Performance Work System is relevant with the performance of the organization. The implementation of the HPWS improves the performance of the organization.Despite the fact that there is limitation in the research, it is beneficial to implement the HPWS for high-tech enterprises in Nan tong.
