| In recent years, the development of tourism in Baoding has developed very fast. On the one hand the amount of the tourist reception continues to grow and the tourism income increases steadily, on the other hand the infrastructure of scenic spot upgrade unceasingly and the tourism market is becoming more and more active. Baoding has the unique conditions for the development of tourism. Baoding has geographical location advantages.Tourism resources are species-rich and high-quality. The infrastructure is perfect in all the cities. Transport and communication network are immensely developed. Baoding’s tourism industry takes Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei’s tourism market as a major target. With the implementation of synergetic development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, the amount of tourists from Beijing, Tianjin will increase because the exchange and cooperation will become more frequent between the three place. Tourism product system in Baoding contains more than 100 scenic spots, a dozen tour routes and 15 characteristic tourism festival products. But with people’s income rising, tourism enthusiastic increasing, people’s tourism motivation diversify and people’s demands on tourism products have become more sophisticated. The existing tourism product system can not meet the ever-changing tourism market demand under the new environment.The optimum design of the tourism prod uct system is based on the tourism resources and really tourism market oriented. This paper analyzed the resources, markets, products of Baoding. By contrast, the existing tourism product system has the following problems:1. The brand features is not outstanding, the scenic service quality is uneven.2. The product performs single and lacks interactive experience.3. The structure is simple and the product design can’t meet market segmentation.4. The spatial layout is not concentrated and few cooperation between the scenic spot.5.The tourism products upgrade lags behind and the adaptation to the new environment appears insufficient.Finally, through the analysis and research, the paper puts forward the optimization of the Baoding tourism product system. Baoding should find the positioning of tourism industry in the synergetic development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province. The individual tourism products should be designed with more experience interactivity.They must reflect the regional characteristics and the city image. The tour routes products can be designed with aiming at different tourist groups and meet the potential demand of tourists. In order to adapt to the market the routes can be developed with multi-theme and the time is reasonable. Regio nal tourism products should be designed with their own characteristics. Take careful of the homogenization of development. Actively interpret the needs of tourists in the new environment and upgrading tourism products. Find advantages of Baoding tourism products by reasonable analysis and maintain close connections with competitors.Then establish the regional or interregional tourism cooperation. |
