With the process of urbanization, Urban Rail Transit plays a very important role in promoting city development and improving public travel quality. Generally speaking, Urban Rail Transit spare parts are reserve components to recover city rail traffic equipment with good performance and accuracy in time. As an important foundation to ensure the normal operation of rail transit, the timely supply of spare parts related to the safety of rail transit and punctuality, spare parts management of urban rail transit is particularly critical. Urban Rail Transit spare parts have the characteristics of wide variety, professional span, fewer in number, single of great value and stochastic demand, leading to the high cost of procurement of spare parts. It becomes a research hotspot of reducing cost of spare parts under the premise of the normal supply of spare parts. This article do the following several aspects of the research from the perspective of joint replenishment, the introduction of postponement strategy, in order to reduce the total cost.First of all, Arrangement of the research status of domestic and foreign as well as spare parts procurement related theory. On the basis of analysis the characteristics and the procurement status of spare parts demand of urban rail transit, puts forward the necessity of joint replenishment. According to the characteristics of the procurement of urban rail transit spare parts, we introduced postponement strategy and put forward the necessity of postponement strategy based on joint replenishment of spare parts.Then according to the different characteristics of the urban rail transit spare parts, from the angle of the procurement cycle, the value of spare parts and demand amount along with whether should joint replenishment and adopting which joint procurement strategy, we propose joint procurement of spare parts classification. Joint replenishment model is constructed from two aspects of single urban rail transit enterprises and multiple city rail transportation enterprises, including joint procurement process and construction process. We focus on the delay of joint replenishment strategy, using analytical method and the particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve strategy parameters.Finally, the proposed joint procurement strategy used in the joint procurement of city urban rail transit spare parts, it found significant improvement compared with all the spare parts purchased separately, which proved the mole of Joint replenishment to be effective.
