From the reform and opening up policy to the early twenty-first century, the process of urbanization in our country is mainly performed as extensive investment. Non-agricultural population proportion of more than 60% cannot objectively reflect the actual level of city in China; the city scale gradually evolved into the extension of the land, the obstacles of public services and social security system are obvious; brought by space aggregation and the scale effect of economic growth, the city also encounters the high input, high energy consumption and low added value of bottleneck. To solve the problems above, this paper will construct the big system of city comprehensive index system of space, population, economy, society, resources and environment to calculate three large city agglomerations in China on the basis of more comprehensive understanding of urbanization. Based on the measure of development level of urbanization in the year of 2007 and 2012 respectively, we measure the coupling coordination degree between each system and definite the type of each city and space-time difference of coupling coordination stage with the combination of ArcGIS graphics technology and the weighted coefficient of variation. More changes are presented comprehensively. The research results show that: there is obvious difference between the evaluation result by the coordination degree and the comprehensive level. There is a complementary relationship between the coordination evaluation and comprehensive level evaluation. The changes in the distribution of coordination degree are often accompanied by changes in the flow of the population and the industrial structure, reflecting the common characteristic that population, economic scale, the social service ability and the carrying capacity of the environment resources are not adapted to each other in the process from the low level to the mature stage. Aiming to offsetting the problems in the three major urban agglomerations in China, in the end of the essay, we put forward policy suggestion on the development of urbanization.
