In the face of economic competition and development, entrepreneurs are aware of the technological innovation, production and consumption patterns change as new challenges has become the focus of the world economic community. "Economic development effectively, the mode of sustainable development of resources and environment stability" has become the consensus and the pursuit of the world. For global logistics enterprises, which are looking for solution to better cope with the increasingly fierce competition, to adapt to the development of economic globalization process and to speed up the development of modern logistics industry, the reduction of logistics costs, the optimization of resources and the improvement of logistics service system are raised.The content of the thesis deals with the implementation of production system in logistics company K, which is on basis of continuous improvement methodology that combines with Six Sigma and Lean methodology, commonly called Lean Six Sigma or Lean Sigma. Company K is one of the most famous companies within the service industry implementing a production system, whose current standard is rolled-out globally. The whole implementation is divided into two Phases and aimed to support the performance transparency of local operations management with regard to quality, productivity and profitability in Phase I, which provides a basis for an efficient and effective continuous improvement process in Phase II.Due to different operational models in different area, the implementation in China is found further room to improve the global standardized implementation roll-out. A weak point analysis is listed in this thesis, which may assist Company K structure a continuous improvements program that abates or eliminates the negative effects caused by deployment barriers and implementation challenges.
