| Since the auto market is becoming more and more mature in China, the Automotive Manufacturing Group grows up continuous. Consumers’ demanding for cars in the early stage of the market is simple and large space, but now days with their psychological maturity and understanding of the cars, the demand becomes various as a result. As follow, to meet the market, the modifications on vehicle production line are more and more frequent. Until 2000, the vehicle renovation duration is about 10 to 15 years in China market. But now it is only about 2 to 3 years for renewing. In China, it is about 20 hundred millions RMB to build a new assembly manufacture, mainly cost is for equipment and construction. That leads to no more Auto manufactory willing to build new fabrication line to renew the products. So to modify the existing line for new ones will be the reasonable method. In the assembly line modification project, the companies highly concern on the project quality inspection and the project risk. The reason is the investment is less than billion. Since the cost is not the main concern, the most important thing is how to fast and qualified to complete and make sure manufacture smoothly. It is a pity that because of lacking effective management skills, the rough management and control or sub-contract management, these can’t meet the requirement indeed and also difficultly avoiding risks. And so the company should set up specify quality control system and risk analysis system to scientific management.In this article, the modification on assembly line as a research object, to analysis in detail, discuss and introduce the QFD tool for various internal users with different quality requirements for evaluation and integration, using level analysis to calculate the important rates, eventually building quality housing, meeting all needs and achieve project quality plan. The risk control system, to systemically identify, analysis, assessment, and response to the risk of the assembly line modification project, introducing the FMEA management tools, establishing risk record sheet, to effective control and avoid project risk. The above research result had successful apply on type Model H GP CS assembly line modification project regarding on quality control and risk analysis system. The above researches results on both subjects have approved specific application. Practices have proved the study on the quality and risk management solutions to fully adapt to the production line reconstruction project characteristics. The research results can provide an effectively production line project management guidance and a certain reference on the kind of project. |
