| Facing the automobile market competition situation, and in order to develop the living space, independent brand automobile enterprise must develop new vehicle products constantly, and control the project cost to ensure that new products are not accepted by the market for high price and low product value. For that the 80% cost of the products is almost determined in the product development design phase,the highlight of the project cost control should shift from production phase to design phase.In this process the modern theory of the cost control will be used to achieve the biggest economic benefit.The project cost of W company at present is analyzed. With an example of a typical part of the automobile, project’s cost control strategy and process design phase is studied by using WBS method and QFD theory, and the lower cost is excavated as well. It also makes project cost control from production to the design phase, optimizes the project cost control process.The main work is as follows:Firstly, the current status of the target cost is analyzed, and the key cost control problems were checked in the design phase.Secondly, the method of target cost was used to identify the project strategic target cost. The strategic target cost is disintegrated from system to subsystem and subsystem to assembly, from the assembly to the parts, which was used the method of WBS. At the same time, value engineer was used to optimize the systems’ value and define the sub-goal cost of the function parts. The cost control process of the company in design phase is optimized.Thirdly, the paper showed that the dissatisfied-cost parts or higher proportion of the parts by using QFD collected the requirements form the departments and converted them to design requirements to find the relationship between design and cost, and defined analyzed part. Finally design engineers were invited to brain storm to dig cost decreasing space. And the trunk lid system of MCE1 project in S model was an example to show how to achieve cost control. |
