A Study Upon The Status Analysis And Countermeasure Of The Raw Material Procurement In A Company

This paper is based on the large private listed companies(Sichuan Hongda Group Co., LTD) as the research background. The company mainly produces electrolytic zinc and phosphorus chemical products, and the procurement for mineral raw materials has become the key for the corporation to earn profits, and also become one of the important factors which restrict the development for the company. The enterprise’s procurement cost for raw materials in products account is more than 50% of the total cost, and the raw materials quality has significantly restricts the quality of the product to be increased.Therefore, strengthening ore and raw materials purchasing management has become a crucial management emphasis for the group company.Through systematic analyzing the present situation of the company in the zinc concentrate and phosphate rock raw material purchasing management, this article proposed the centralized procurement model focusing on the minerals, including setting the company procurement plan, selecting supplier, forming measurement method and the payment method, etc.. This purchasing management mode proposed effectively meets the needs for the company’s production and operation.In the meantime, this paper also proposed safeguard measures and methods for the implementation of centralized purchasing procurement mode, including establish and perfect procurement team, quality supervision mechanism, financial management system, and purchasing, quality and price control system jointed by the participation of suppliers, and finally form a comprehensive and procurement management patterns and control system.This paper closely centered on purchasing characteristics for zinc concentrate and phosphate rock, and established the procurement quality and price control system for zinc concentrate and of phosphate rock, and further carried out science evaluations for the procurement performance. This paper has carried on the effective explorations and practices of the purchasing management for resource type mineral enterprises.
