Study On The Developing Strategy Of UPS Supply Chain Finance In China

Since reforming and opening-up for 30 years, China’s economy keeps increasing in a rapid speed. With the development of society, economic and trade globalization, middle and small enterprises have played a significant role in national economy. However, hard capital circulation has become a bottleneck for middle and small enterprises to develop themselves. Supply chain capital, as the important and creative mode to alleviate difficulties in capital circulation, has been adopted by more and more middle and small enterprises. Supply chain capital brings not only business innovation to financial industry but also substantial income to both domestic and foreign 3rd party logistic companies, which solve the problem of hard capital circulation on supply chain for a large number of middle and small enterprises. Capital development mode for supply chain from world’s biggest logistic company-UPS can be considered exemplary in logistics industry. However, it has big difficulty taking a step forward, currently. Therefore, studying the solution of UPS upon supply chain capital will not only benefit its business expansion in China, sound development of supply chain capital and raising up its market share in China, but also plays an important role in solving the hard capital circulation for middle and small enterprises, and promoting business innovation of banking and logistic industry and its management upgrade.This thesis, from the perspective of 3rd party logistic company, based on related monograph and concept on 3rd party logistic, supply chain management, supply chain capital, mainly adopts the method of literature referencing, Boston Matrix Analysis, and case study to analysis operation mode and characteristic of supply chain capital. Then, further put forward system framework for 3rd party logistic company to carry out supply chain capital from the aspects of market system, operation system and risk control system. Combined with actual working, analysis on current situation of UPS carrying out supply chain capital in China, the problem facing and the reason of why the development suffers obstacles, will better help UPS work out the solution from the perspectives of market, operating and risk control, by combining national condition of China and its advantage over logistic industry.(1)Clarity its star position in market and set up segmentation system, including retail, hi-tech, healthcare and manufacturing industries. (2) Adjust organization frame of UPS capital in China, optimize operating process and set up multiple marketing modes.(3) Set up risk early-warning system, partner monitoring system, and greatly apply information management technology. The last chapter summarized the work of whole thesis, and points out the deficiencies of the study and the next step nee to discuss. The creative point of this paper suggested that UPS in China establishes supply chain financial market system based on the industry segmentation system, and adjust the organizational structure, so as to realize the difference marketing.
