At present, domestic tourism has been developed from the travel agency sightseeing tours and short holiday concentrated visit to weekend leisure visit and hospitality and catering travel, which is more diverse travel patterns. As the Internet platform thinking and Platform Economic developing, tourism production as the main carrier of tourism industry has entered to the personalized, differentiated development of the times, customer asked the consumer products can be created more personalized and had more demanding to design the product by themselves. Tourism product is no longer a single product to meet the basic needs of tourism consumers, but to meet the demands of the present intelligent times and user’s personalization services. And outbound tourism increased convenience, lower prices, makes competition more intense between domestic tourism and outbound tourism. The competitiveness of tourism products gradually reflected in product design and management, so the design and management of Tourism product has a very important significance.W Yachting Tourism Company was built in 2009 which is the new tourism concept appeared after Qingdao Olympic Sailing Games tourism concept introduced in 2008. This company developed several tourism products according to the referred product design theory, and get expected earning for these new products. This is the typical evidence to doing research of tourism product design, which also has some reference meaning for Qingdao other local tourism company’s new tourism product design. The product of W Yachting Tourism meets the needs of the modern traveler, achieve the comprehensive market competitiveness.This article attempts to research the basis of tourism consumer psychology and product selection, to explore the development and transformation for Qingdao W Yachting company’s tourism product design. The research content mainly based on the product life cycle basis, focused on the product idea generation, a detailed analysis of the products design and operations. In the tourist consumer psychology area, explain the change of the tourists psychological and what impact this change performance to the tourism product selection, combined with the emergence of new tourism products from W Yachting company, illustrate the innovation of tourists manufactured consumer psychology further. Finally, based on a reality case, W Yachting company, to make findings more consistent with the actual situation.
