Currently, in the constant deepening background of globalization, marketing and in formation, production cycle is getting shorter and shorter, differentiated demand is more and more, market prices is getting lower and lower, above lead directly the characteristi cs of production with varieties, small quantities, high requirements. Therefore, in order to adapt to changes of the customer demand structure, to build a production processes o ptimization with a target of small inventory, varieties, high-quality, rapid response and t imely delivery, which is the key to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and win the market.From the Forging and heartbeat branch of Dongfang Turbine CO.,LTD actual production situation, this paper analyzes development overviews, product structure, organization and production processes and finds out the production process problems by using systems analysis and combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, which uses the enterprise management, MIS, Production and Operations Management and other related knowledge. On the Dongfang Turbine CO.,LTD differentiation strategy analysis, this paper analyzes the internal and external environment and proposes information technology building urgency. Based on the analysis of the Forging and heatreat branch of Dongfang Turbine CO.,LTD development overviews, through SWOT model analysis, this paper dentifies the Forging and heatreat branch’s development strategy and planning, pionts out the MES Significance, optimization objectives and principles, and implementation design in the Forging and heatreat branch manufacturing process optimization. Finally, this paper summarizes the whole chapter.This paper attempts to draw on the successful experience of the implementation of the MES system at home and abroad, make the exploration for the Forging and heatreat branch of Dongfang Turbine CO.,LTD production process optimization and and put forward my point of view. This paper emphasizes the necessity and feasibility of the Forging and heatreat branch MES system implementation, and emphasizes the objectives and principles of production processes optimization, and proposes the implementation of MES design.
