South Africa and the Northeast Asian region, including, China, Japan, Korea, Russia, Mongolia and North Korea’s, economic cooperation in recent years has developed extensively. This development has been widely promoted, both theoretically, and also by many practical economic and political factors. South Africa and Northeast Asia are strengthening their efforts in order to further develop economic cooperation. Led by the governments direct power to the various common interests and needs of the economic and political parties between Northeast Asia and South Africa. Various aspects of the economic development relations between South Africa and Northeast Asia have experienced fast and healthy development. This rapid development has established a good platform for trade and export opportunities, not only between Northeast Asia and South Africa, but also between other African countries. South Africa is the one of the world’s most promising emerging markets, and has a unique relationship between developed countries. South Africa is also Africa’s most developed country.The main thesis contents include:firstly the economic and trade development profiles between South Africa and the Northeast Asian countries, as well as South Africa’s economic profile; followed by the introduction of South Africa’s sophisticated trade environment including, trade policy, economic policy, legal and business environment. Secondly, illustrating the trade barriers and obstacles encountered between South Africa and Northeast Asian countries, as well as the sizable trade deficit between South Africa and Northeast Asia; finally the some methods and countermeasures against the trade barriers and obstacles faced between the regions as well as future economic development and trade prospects.
