Since the reform and opening up in 1879,China has experienced a wave of industrial migration. The industrial migration in China can be divided into two phases. The first phase is the stage of international industrial migration in the 1990s and the second phase is the dual functional stage of international industrial migration and domestic industrial migration after 1990s.The industrial migration made Chinese economy grow at an average rate of 9.9% per year, which is called "Chinese miracle".At the same time, the industrial migration also increased the regional economic growth disparity in China, which caused a serious of social problems. In this paper,we analyze the spatial pattern of regional economic disparity and industrial migration in China from 1990 to 2000,using the method of Theil index. Then we explore the relationship between industrial migration and regional economic disparity, using the method of regression analysis.Firstly,we analyze the spatial pattern of regional economic disparity in China from 1990 to 2000 by adopting the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Results of this study show that:the regional economic disparity is very significant on Belt-scale,and the regional economic gap changes from big to small. the spatial pattern of regional economic disparity between economic zones related to the regional development strategy in our country. The 34 provinces can be divided into four categories by the NICH index. On the county-scale,there is a large number of counties which GDPPC blows the average GDPPC of the whole country locating at the middle and western regions. Then we analyzes the geographical characteristics of spatial pattern of regional economic differences, and we find that high economic level areas are concentrated in railway zone, coastal areas and along the Yangtze river and Yellow River areas and plain areas.Secondly,we explore the change trend of regional economic disparity. The results shows that regional economic disparity of the whole country and the Belt-scale becomes narrow. The regional economic disparity between economic zones and provinces gets bigger from 1990 to 2000,and it gets smaller from 2000 to 2010.But the iner regional economic disparity of provinces gets smaller from 1990 to 2010.Thirdly,we get a index to instead of international industrial and analyze the spatial pattern of industrial migration in China.During the period of 1990 to 2000, international industrial transfer which mainly concentrated in coastal areas played an important role.During the period of 2000 to 2010,the international industrial transfer still exist, but the domestic industrial transfer gradually occupy the dominant position. The domestic industrial transfer including Two levels:national wide industrial transfer and industry transfer a inner province or a economic zone. There are three characteristics about national wide industrial transfer:Industry transfer is from the eastern coastal areas to other regions;Industry transfer migrated along the transit line and main river;Industry transfer improves the level of economic of some counties which get the chance of undertaking industrial transfer in the central and western region. Finally, this paper used the regression method to study the underlying influencing mechanism between industrial migration and regional economic disparity of The Yangtze river economic belt. Results shows that,on behalf of the economic development basic level, the national component had significantly positive effects on regional economic disparity of The Yangtze river economic belt. The economic zone component, the province component and the county component had significantly positive effects on regional economic disparity of The Yangtze river economic belt in 2000.The result shows that industrial migration on the economic zone scale态the province scale and the county scale expands the regional economic disparity of The Yangtze river economic belt in 2000.But The economic zone component and the province component had significantly negative effects on regional economic disparity of The Yangtze river economic belt in 2010.The result shows that industrial migration on the economic zone scale and the province scale narrows the regional economic disparity of The Yangtze river economic belt in 2010.Industrial migration on the county scale still expands regional economic disparity of The Yangtze river economic belt.
