Research On Relations Between Industrial Structure Changes And Drought Characteristic In Sichuan And Chongqing Region

With the development of global climate change, weather anomaly become more and more unpredictable. The effects of climate change are endangering the stability of country and society. In the face of abnormal meteorological disasters, the first thing we need to do is to understand them. The regional drought trend is changing our earth, and more and more scholars pay attention to it. According to relevant data statistics, the worldwide drought area expanded to more than 2 times nearly 50 year. At the same time, China’s drought degree is also increased year by year.On the one hand, Sichuan and Chongqing region is located in China hinterland areas, the soil is fertile and low-lying, where the food production is one of the biggest in China. But Sichuan and Chongqing region is drought prone areas. Although the region water conservancy facilities are perfect, affected by climate change, the trend of drying gradually appears. In order to explore the Sichuan and Chongqing region characteristics of drought, based on the 42 weather stations rainfall data in Sichuan province and Chongqing city as the foundation, Using the standardized precipitation index method, Analyzing the characteristics of drought. We found that drought and flood staggered distribution during the last 50a,and 5-10 years as a cycle. Due to global warming extreme weather events occur frequently. Disaster has a greatest effect on the central of Sichuan and Chongqing region, the second is the east, west disaster index is minimum. Drought area move clearly, drought in eastern is risingOn the other hand, Sichuan and Chongqing region as an important political, economic and cultural center in the southwest, droughts has significant economic impact on it. In order to confirm whether drought is correlation with economy. On the basis of the statistics in Sichuan and Chongqing nearly 18 years, according to the values of regional drought index, explore the relationship between drought index and regional changes in the industry. We found that the Sichuan and Chongqing region drought index has weak correlation with industry data. From the region side, regional drought index have differences relevance with industry data. The drought index in the eastern and central region are most related to industrial economy, this is mainly attributed to the Sichuan and Chongqing region’s industrial structure optimization.
