Study On Lean Logistics Management Of Y’s Tobacco Enterprise

With the demand for tobacco logistics lean more urgent, lean logistics has become an essential part of tobacco industry’s logistics management development. In this paper, combined with the logistics characteristics and existing problems of Y’s tobacco enterprise, constructing and implementing of Y’s tobacco lean logistics management system were studied.Firstly, the paper discussed the status of Y’s tobacco logistics. At first, the current development situation of Y’s tobacco company was briefly shown. And the paper analyzed current work status of Y’s tobacco logistics detailed. And then the existing problems of Y’s tobacco logistics were emphatically discussed, which included problems on process and system, the degree of information, qualified personnel of logistics, and operational efficiency of logistics.Secondly, the paper did the research about on implementing lean logistics management in Y’s tobacco enterprise. It pointed out the significance of implementing lean logistics and explicit the objectives and principles of logistics management under which the content of lean logistics management was made, that is, refinement process as the key to achieve process reengineering, and accurate accounting as basis to reduce logistics costs, and precision operation as the support to ensure full control, and subtlety service as the core to build service brand, and fine management as the safeguard to improve the evaluation system. And then the paper pointed out that the basic idea and implementing methods to construct the system which aims at promoting high quality of lean logistics.Finally, the procedures and safeguards to implement lean logistics management were discussed. The implementation would be divided into "preparation phase" and "formal implementation and continuous improvement phase". And how to ensure the smooth implementation by measures about ideas, theories, systems, organization and personnel, platforms and hardware as well as software was suggested.In summary, this paper explored the application of lean thinking to logistics management. And on the one hand, the constructing and implementing of lean logistics management would provide a useful reference for other tobacco companies. And it also would help to raise the overall level of concepts and abilities about tobacco logistics’ operational management, and service improvement, efficiency, and costs reduce would be required.
