The Study On Harmonious Development Of Tianjin-Hebei Port Group Under The Background Of Integration Of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Since China’s regional economic development and economic growth pole have transferred to Bohai Sea region, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is one of the fastest growing economies in the region, following the Yangtze river delta and the Pearl river delta. Especially the policy of regional integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will promote the development of port construction. In the process of the development of ports, however, because of no unified development planning and macroeconomic regulation and control, there exists many cases of repeated construction and low level competition. In order to realize the regional integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, study on the harmonious development of port group becomes even more important.At first, this thesis generalizes the concept of port group, and then analyzes the economic development of hinterland, the current development of ports and also the internal and external environment. On the basis of analysis, problems currently faced by port group have been put forward, illustrating the necessity of the harmonious development of port group. Then this thesis respectively uses the game theory in the Cournot model and Hotelling model, Tragedy of the commons model to analyze the problem. Combined with experience of other port group, finally, this thesis gives some reasonable suggestions about the harmonious development of Tianjin-Hebei port group.
