Our cruising industry is developing rapidly, and as part of marine country strategy, cruise economy will achieve a wider space for development in the "One Belt and One Road" context.Cruise homeport as the central link of cruise economy, as well as an important node in cruise transportation network, can bring marked growing economical effects in the course of industry operation and publicize city images. In April 2015, the Ministry of Transport published " The coastal cruise port layout plan", pointing out two or three cruise homeports to be build and other ports as departures or visits. We have built our own homeports in Shanghai, Sanya, Tianjin and Xiamen, and regions such as Dalian, Qingdao, Zhoushan, and Shenzhen will need to step up the pace to build homeports. Dalian as the emphatically developed port in Liaoning, has been turning to build Northeast Asia shipping center. Tourism industry accounts for a large proportion of Dalian’s GDP. Building cruise homeport can greatly promote the development of its tourism industry and its position in the shipping industry.
