The Assessment Of Tourism Potential Of The Nine Subordinate Counties Of Harbin

The development potential of the tourism refers to an ability aroused by the development of the economy in a region in a certain condition to boost the tourism This ability can conclude the prospect of the tourism in to this region and the endurance of the development totally. In recent years, although China’s tourism has developed rapidly and thus drive the development of other industries, the economy of the nine subordinate counties of Harbin develops slowly and the tourism is obstructed by all the sorts of aspects. Therefore, the evaluation of the potential of tourism of these nine counties can help know their own development. Through the evaluation, each county can know the scarcity of its resource and dig its own development potential, which can give a definite direction of the tourism.This paper analyzes the influence factors of the development potential of the tourism of nine subordinate counties in Harbin further and their future development potential and speculate its direction of development through the introduction of the definition of the tourism. By using the relevant theories, I construct an evaluation index system of the tourism development potential based on the science, practicality and prospect, which contains 22 factors. I use the Analytic Hierarchy Process to evaluate their development potential of tourism by looking up the statistical data from 2002 to 2012 about the nine counties and regard it as the quantitative data. Later, I carry out the qualitative analysis from their development conditions, natural resources and human environment and calculate the comprehensive ranking of the development potential of the tourism of these nine counties. Through the analysis we can conclude that, development of the tourism of the nine counties is relatively slow, but the potential is large. The development potential of the tourism can be dug by making the best of the natural resources, developing the human environment, the support of the governments, strengthening supervision and other aspects.
