Tuna, a kind of ocean migratory fishes with high nutritive and economic value, is mainly distributed in the mid and low latitude of the Pacific, Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. Most of the tuna industries and market are distributed in the more developed countries or regions such as Japan, Western Europe, America, Korea and Taiwan. China, the largest developing country in the world, still has a big gap between the developed countries in tuna industries’developmental level and market share.Market development determines the capability of national fisheries in the competition of international fisheries, the higher level of domestic market are developed, the better market competitiveness and strength in the international fisheries competition. In recent years, China has achieved certain effects in developing domestic tuna market. But in the international fisheries competition, China still has been constrained by the over-concentrated and depressing overseas market.With the acceleration of the international tuna resources management, the contradiction between tuna resources development and ecological environmental protection has become increasingly prominent. Fishing countries have strengthened their protection of exclusive economic zone, as well as the high sea tuna resources protection and management by related international fishery community. With the support of national ocean strategies, how to develop tuna fisheries sustainably, promote the international competitiveness and fisheries economy are the significant issues for China tuna fisheries. Moreover, facing the resources management, increasing operating costs, depressing markets, limited quotas and licenses, shortage of crew and talents, how to adjust the development strategies is also essential to survive for tuna enterprises.By using Port Theories, PEST and SWOT analyze method, this paper will comprehensively analyze the tuna industries chain basing on the case of LianCheng Overseas Fisher (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, to break bottleneck of most fisheries staying at the front of supply chain by the way of traditional fishing. Furthermore, the paper will propose some constructive strategies of marketing and operations under the new circumstance of international fisheries, for the deeper development of tuna enterprises by total solutions and strategic reference.
