Research On Six Sigma Promotion In Non-governmental Enterprises

Having been introduced into China for more than twenty years, Six Sigma brought a lot benefits for many large enterprises by continuously improving their quality management. The practice of Six Sigma in large enterprises is quite mature, while the implementation of Six Sigma in non-governmental enterprises still lacks a developed guidance and method, which also leads to a low successful implementation rate in non-governmental enterprises.In this article, the reasons for the application of Six Sigma in non-governmental enterprises are explained. Furthermore, Based on the research of the characteristics of carrying out Six Sigma management in non-governmental enterprises, combined with its current situation, this paper analyzes the problems of importing and implementing Six Sigma in non-governmental enterprises and provides methods from the aspect of the initial stage of import, process control, promotion of reform and long-term strategy. By making case analysis on the import and implementation of Six Sigma in AT Company, the paper summarizes the methods of importing and carrying out the Six Sigma in non-governmental enterprises:top leaders make a commitment, the intelligence strategy and implementation strategy with low cost should be supported continuously, apply DA method in a program, audit the project implementation to ensure effectiveness, and encourage the promotion of reform and create Six Sigma culture.From the initial control to a long-term strategy of importing and carrying out Six Sigma in non-governmental enterprises, the paper presents a series of steps and methods, which has important reference and is useful for p non-governmental enterprises to embark on the successful road of implementing Six Sigma management.
