In recent years, in the cosmetics market, especially the part with franchised stores as the sales channel,brands invested by foreign capital enterprises and joint ventures possess a large part of the market. Meanwhile, domestic brands are sharing the market at an aggressive pace. Despite the fierce competition, sales persons (beauty consultant called by insiders) lay a good foundation for the profit of a company. Thus, highly qualified and experienced sale persons become favorable targets of different companies. On the other hand, without a steady sales team, a company’s sales goal won’t be easily reached and the consistent development will be affected. Besides, the loss of the sales person will mean the leak out of the management standards and experience which will have a bad influence on the brand. Also, it will affect other employees leading to a decrease in their royalty and team spirit.Through a staff satisfaction survey of company X and an interview of those who have left the company, the paper has acquired a lot of data and text information. Based on the enterprise factor and the characteristics of cosmetic sales persons who are mainly very young females, this paper will study the reasons of sales person loss. Through a study of theories about staff turnover and staff loss and based on the working experience and the fact that most sales persons are young females, the paper proposes several suggestions and countermeasures so as to deal with the loss of sales staff.Hopefully, those suggestions and countermeasures could provide some reference and solutions for company X while dealing with the loss of sales staff.
