With the rapid development and growth of the total GDP of China’s industry, the steel industry maintained a rapid development over the years. In2013,China’s steel production exceeded10million tons for the first time, the amount of which exceeded4billion tons of steel logistics, China has become the largest country in the amount of steel logistics. Relative to the rapid development of China’s iron and steel enterprises, the logistics management will not maintaining the same rhythm, like rough management, no clear industry standard, and soBased on the ThyssenKrupp company’s sales logistics management as a research object, through the relevant theoretical and practical methods of modern enterprise logistics management to improve ThyssenKrupp company’s sales logistics management.This thesis from the ThyssenKrupp company’s sales logistics management existing processes, sales logistics capabilities and logistics resources, to analyze the existing problems in the logistics management system, identify and determine the problems in logistics management, and according to modern logistics theory and ThyssenKrupp company status, to propose the related improvement methods, such as transportation and warehousing standardized manual books, logistics information systems development, application of GPS technology, the establishment of local logistics services center, the establishment of third-party logistics service provider selection and evaluation system and integrate social resources. Finally, the relevant safeguards to ensure that the relevant improvement program can be effectively implemented.Hope the results of this study can be applied to ThyssenKrupp company’s sales logistics management in the future. Meanwhile, also hope this thesis can be provided reference for the same types of companies.
