The rise of the knowledge economy on a global scale, gives the knowledgemanagement huge business opportunities but also some challenges associated with.Complex and interdisciplinary trend of technological innovation makes a singleenterprise hard to get all the technical knowledge and resources that innovationneeded, coupled with the uncertainty of technological innovation, the huge cost alsoincreased the risk of technological innovation. Knowledge and technology transfer isan important part of the knowledge economy, also is the key to success of openinnovation. When enterprises need to transfer their knowledge and technology, theabsorptive capacity and the desorptive capacity must be used.This passage first to sort out the relevant theory, summarizes the open innovation,absorptive capacity, desorptive capacity and other factors which will affect theinnovation performance, reviews relevant research methods and findings, clear theresearch target. Second, on the basis of the previous researches, this passage definiterelevant concept, proposes the desorptive capacity and expands the concept ofabsorptive capacity. Third, based on past researches, this passage develops the relatemeasurement model, conducts surveys (mainly for companies in Zhejiang province).Forth, by SPSS17.0, through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regressionanalysis and other classical statistical methods, this article verify and corrects all thehypothesis, and finally confirm the effect of absorptive capacity and desorptivecapacity to the enterprises innovation performance. This paper also takesenvironmental turbulence (technical turbulence and market turbulence) intoconsideration, studys the effect of receive company’s absorptive capacity (potentialand actual) and the knowledge source’s desorptive capacity (potential and actual) tothe receive company’s innovation performance, and then compare with the results ofprevious studies. On the basis of empirical analysis, this paper also puts outshortcomings in this study and proposes recommendations for future study, especiallyto the desorptive capacity. For example current research rarely put absorptive capacity and desorptive capacity into one framework to analysis their relational schema,synergy and so on, this is also the focus of future research.Overall, by studying the mechanism of absorptive capacity and desorptivecapacity, we can open the black box of their impact to innovation performance, also itwill give theoretical reference to the enterprise capability theory and the furtherempirical research, help enterprises to improve their competitiveness.
