Use The Management Theory In 《I-ching》 Directing A.M Cosmetic Sales Corporate Chain Project

《I-ching》 is the most ancient intelligence book in China, it is “The head of all books”in Confucianism and Daoism. The fist function of this book,is for divination, but thenConfucius wrote7biographies to introduce the philosophical thought in this book. As theway we divide this book in subject today, it should belongs to philosophy. Then it mustinclude the methodology. From this point of view, when I was studying on this book, I foundmany thoughts in this book such as “Yinyang”,“four images”,“Bagua”,“sequence of Gua”,etc. could might be use in the management theory nowadays. From this thought, I would liketo write an article studying on this subject.A.M stands for ALOBON MAKEUP, which is a Chinese cosmetic brand, it produceMakeup, Skin care, Facial Mask etc. Our company has been the distributor of this brandsince2002. At the time of2014July, our company start a new project, named “A.M salescorporate chain”, the target is to build a new Makeup fast fashion chain brand. During thestep of planning operating, location finding and managing, there are many ideas are from thebook 《I-ching》, which gives our project many good impact.The sense of this essay is to summarize how to apply the management thought in《I-ching》 with A.M project, use the traditional Chinese thought on modernized way ofproject management, in order to adapt Chinese business situation. China has grow up in21century, but the reason is not our own civilization has manifest, it is only because we arecopying the management theory from western world. But at the mode of thinking field, weare totally different from western country. For every Chinese people, we understand ourculture, but we may not understand western culture, at the same, western people may notunderstand ours as well. Therefore, there are many problems when we use the western wayof management in Chinese company, in Chinese project. How to find our own way inmanagement method? It is a big question for all managers.Put the ideas from 《I-ching》 in management field, is my wish. A.M project provide aplatform for this wish.“time mid help situation” theory in 《I-ching》 is a way to measureboth inner and external environment.“time”, is the judge for the whole environment. We need to perform as the time required, so we can be successful. Mid has the special meaningin 《I-ching》, it means we should always find the mid-way method to sort out problems.There are also lots of management thinking in this book, that we could apply on A.M projectmanagement.
