Tourism environment is a complex centered on the experience and perception of tourists whose existence, process and development are impacted by all kinds of natural, social, economic etc. factors. Tourism comfort yet refers to the level of satisfaction tourists present from the phy-siological and psychological aspects. According to the research, tourism comfort reflects the value of the tourism environment, while it’s an important part of the attraction of tourism desti-nation. With the development and progress of social economy, a number of relevant policies and regulations on tourism come on in succession. Travel becomes a main way to lie fallow, take it easy and escape from work, and more inhabitants choose out of their permanent residence to vis-it and go sightseeing. Meanwhile, the suitability of the destination’s climate and environment is taken one of the important factors into consideration. But suitability involved in the current domestic and foreign research literature is usually re-ferred to the climate comfort. Its research scope is narrow and cannot comprehensively and ob-jectively response to the degree of comfort of the whole tourism environmental system. In addi-tion, some scholars in the early20th cenrury had put forward that the natural environment of tourism not only includes climate factors, but also cover environmental elements such as the at-mospheric quality. However, because of the limited access of the data and its sensitivity to hu-man activity, most of the scholars were inclined to emphasize the climate factors and ignore the influence of environmental elements in the actual process of quantitative assessment. As a consequence, how to further study the effect of environmental factors to tourist com-fort possesses both the theoretical significance and practical value. This paper was right based on such a background and realistic demand, and tentatively studied the tourism environmental comfort. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows.(1) On the basis of theoretical research, such as tourism environment, climate comfort, en-vironmental comfort etc., this paper comes up with the concept of tourism enrironmental comfort from the microscopic view, namely quantitative factors which environmental elements in the tourist area mainly on such impact factors as climate and air quality act on human senses, and thus does come into being perceptual evaluation.(2) According to the concept of tourism environmental comfort above, this paper estab-lished an evaluation system based on tourism climate comfort and air quality index. The former includes multiple elements, such as, temperature, relative humidity, wind, rainfall, barometric pressure and visibility. The latter contains many factors, such as, PM2.5, PM10, CO, NO2, O3, SO2and so on. The specific modeling process is as follows:firstly, with the use of golden section method, this text caluculated human comfort targeted by temperature, relative humidity, wind and rainfall. Secondly, confirm weight about air pressure, visibility and human comfort, then set up the linear evaluation model of tourism climate comfort based on aforementioned three cli-matic factors. Thirdly, using fractal model we calculated such atmospheric factors’background and standard values as PM2.5、PM10、CO、NO2、O3、 SO2etc. Forthly, the tourist air quality assessment model is established based on the ORAQI model. Lastly, distance-based method has related tourism climate comfort to air quality index, and then lead to the generation of the evalu-ation model of tourism environmental comfort.(3) Tourism environmental comfort in Hangzhou has been estimated in accordance with the structure of the "part-total" type. The results showed that tourism environmental comfort is cha-racterized by spatial and temporal disparities. In a word, Chun’an County is the best spatially and the period between May and June, September and October is the most comfortable time in Hangzhou.(4) By means of quantitative method, the various factors have been analyzed spatially and temporally from the microscopic view. Subsequently, other influencing factors, such as, water, noise, ecological construction, the social and economic environment have been discussed quali-tatively from the macroscopic view.
