In recent years, with continuous economic and social development, people’s livingstandards has improved a lot. Flower consumption has become a new fashion ofpeople’s daily life. Under the broad market prospect, there is increasingly fierceindustry competition. Especially in the present, with the rise of e-commerce, thecompetition floral industry faces is no longer simple competition of products andservices—it has become competition of business model and industrial chain under thebackground of informatization. E-commerce has the advantages of low operating cost,wide range of users, no limit of time and space, direct user interactions and so on. As aresult, E-commerce is increasingly favored by flower companies. However, most ofChina’s flower companies are small and medium-sized enterprises and flower industrye-commerce is facing with a serious of problems such as lacking of professionals,imperfect social supporting system, and no mature mode available for reference and soon.Shandong LT Flower Co., Ltd. is a national-level agricultural leading enterprisewhich carries on research and development of high grade flower seedlings and flowerbreeds. While enjoying development opportunities of the flower industry, the companyhas also confronted challenges like marketing channel expansion, logistics and so on.Due to limited conditions, the company’s E-commerce construction is still in itsprimary stage of building company website and releasing sell and supply information.The thesis has analyzed and compared several E-commerce models of typical flowercompanies home and abroad, and brought up the suggestion that LT should adopt afission development model of promote E-commerce construction with threecompetitive strategies in stages. The author, by taking into consideration thecompany’s conditions, has redesigned the company’s E-commerce platform, logistics, alliance and other core elements, and proposed corresponding supporting measures.The author hopes that the thesis could explore the combination of E-commerce andtraditional flower industry by project practices and operations and thus generateremarkable demonstration value and driving effect to other flower enterprises even thewhole flower industry.
