Strategic Positioning And Practical Analysis Of Banking Industry To Support Urbanization

China has advanced into the accelerating phase of urbanization, the construction of urbanization will be a China’s new economic growth power in the future. The prevailing problem is the urbanization of rural area. Both the changes occurred in modern cities and rural areas need to be taken into consideration while searching the solutions to this problem. As the banking industry’s financial supports are crucial to realization of urbanization, hence the harmonious developments in the demographic, economic and social levels, the exploration and research of the strategic positioning have significant practicability.This dissertation analyzes the internal relationship between banking industry’s financial support and the progress of rural areas’ urbanization from the angle that the banking industry provides positive reinforcements. Also, the integration of regulation and implementation, theory and practice, dynamic and static point of views are provided in this dissertation. Banking industry’s financial support can facilitate the urbanization of rural areas in the following three channels:to provide credit support to the immigration of people, the developments of medium-sized and small enterprises and the construction of social infrastructures. Rural areas’ urbanization is the consolidation of demographic urbanization, economic urbanization and social urbanization. This dissertation seeks to stretch the possibility frontier of financial support and strategic positioning on the basis of mathematic models and proves the high correlation between banking credit and urbanization of ShanDong province with the statistic data.Base on that, give the political suggestions that urbanization construction is a system engineering, government departments at all levels should strengthen the policy force, banking supervision department should strengthen leading of supervision, the banking industry should clear the function and position, optimize the allocation of funds, scientifically plan the business development, improve the service efficiency, preventing and dissolving the risk, further optimization of the rural financial market system, provide a financial support to promote the urban rural health sustainable development.
