The Research Of BPM In State-Owned Telecommunication Enterprise

This research starting point is standing in the perspective of deepening the system reform of state-owned enterprises and the research of management reform of state-owned enterprises. An overview problem recognition of process management in state-owned enterprises, is with the example of a particular state-owned telecommunication enterprise in the field of BPM. During the study we found that what affects the state-owned enterprise progress management includes:the enterprise’s strategic management, business management, functional management and so on several aspects. Yet, the key problem affecting the state-owned enterprise management benefit focuses on the business process management. Low degree information sharing in business information, thin scale correlation between headquarters and subsidiary company businesses, will all directly lead to low efficiency in the whole process management of the enterprise, for instance, low degree of enterprise’s fine management, severely restricts the state-owned enterprise management benefit and efficiency of management. Therefore, this study introduces the "Business Process Reengineering (BPR)," management system, and reforms the fundamental and thorough problems in process management in state-owned enterprises accumulated throughout the years.At the same time, in this study, we found that, with the rapid development of science and technology, large state-owned enterprises promote long BPR cycles, and low success rate. Consequently, we deduced a possible innovative point:supported by IT system to form electronic process, not only can solidify BPR profit, but also boost BPR implementation success rate.
