Research On The Relationship Between The China Postal Industry Development And The Technical Progress

Having experienced the separation of government functions and enterprise management, China postal industry has been gradually from low level to high level. Since the21st century, the progress of science and technology and the rapid development of electronic commerce have brought the postal industry new opportunities and challenges. Through the empirical analysis of the postal data from1999to2011, this paper studies how technical progress contributes to the development of the postal industry; through the empirical analysis of the postal data from2005to2011, the paper studies the coordination of technical progress and the postal industry. The purpose of this paper is to find the problems existing in the use of science and technology for postal development, and then make related proposals, use technology to promote the development of the postal industry.The innovation of this paper lies in:first, using Solow Residual Value Method to study the relationship between the postal industry technical progress and development, it is concluded that the technical progress level of China postal industry assumes the overall upward trend, postal enterprises’technical progress contribution ratio is generally high, but there is still gap compared to the target of our country’s Science and technology plan. Second, on the basis of technical progress making contribution to the development of the postal industry, the paper also studies the coordination of the development and the technical progress of the postal industry, it is concluded that they are not harmonious, but the coordination between them is rising year after year.
