| Broadband is the necessary condition for achieving the social in-formatization, many countries have reached a consensus on the im-portance of broadband and have launched their national broadband strat-egy. In August2013, China has also promulgated the "Broadband Chi-nese" strategy. This paper selected broadband as the research object and created a dynamics system model to measure the impact of "Broadband China "strategy for China’s future economy, Furthermore, it explored that whether broadband can be an endogenous variable of the economic sys-tem.First, a reorganization of domestic and foreign literature on the eco-nomic impact of broadband at different levels had been made and com-bined the judgment about the difficulties faced by the study, the system dynamics had been selected as the research approach and built a model about the economic impact of broadband supported by the influence path.Then, based on the estimation about the broadband construction in-vestment which caused by the "Broadband China" strategy, this paper took two sets as the input of the model, and then compared the difference between the various variables in the economic system model, then measured the improvement in employment, investment, productivity and GDP which the "Broadband China" will bring to China.Subsequently, this paper proved that in the year from2002to2012, GDP of the United States causality statistically on the investment con-struction of broadband of the next year. The regression model showed that, an increase of1%of GDP, the next year, construction investment of broadband will increase by0.513%. Thus, it verified that behind a certain period of broadband development, a virtuous circle between broadband development and economic growth will be achieved, that is, broadband is an endogenous variable of the economic system.Finally, according to the results of this study, this paper presented some policy recommendations, such as present details of the implementa-tion of national broadband strategy, increase taxation support for broad-band infrastructure construction, enhance the level of competition of broadband construction market, etc. |
