The Mechanism Research Of Migrant Workers’ Urban Entrepreneurial Level And Policy Support: Based On The Case Study Of East China

Most previous studies considered migrant workers as a vulnerablegroup, in order to safeguard the fundamental rights of migrant workersand achieve social justice as purpose. These studies undoubtedly haveimportant value, but from the perspective of social development, the only"underpinning" type of study is not enough. We should also develop"development" style of study, namely, with the development of the ruralmigrant workers and social development as the theme of research. Migrantworkers are constantly seeking upward development space, and only fromthe point of entrepreneurship, part of migrant entrepreneurs are in thetransition from necessity to development of entrepreneurship, a few ofthem have achieved the latter. This thesis is based on "development" typeof research, focusing on the specific field of migrant workers’entrepreneurship,discussing the decision mechanism and transformationmechanism of migrant workers’ urban entrepreneurial level, acceleratingthe equality improvement of urban and rural public employment andentrepreneurial service system.First,the author set up the analysis framework of migrant workers’ entrepreneurial level, based on literature review and preliminaryexploratory research. Using the case study, the author had deep interviewswith six migrant workers who are in developmental entrepreneurial level,collected their entrepreneurial process, to analysis the decisionmechanism and transformation mechanism of venture-level. The study foundthat decision mechanism of migrant workers’ entrepreneurial levelincludes direct and indirect mechanisms. Entrepreneur’s opportunityawareness, decision support, fund-raising ability, organizationalmanagement and marketing capabilities directly determine theentrepreneurial level. Macro business environment (including politics,economy, culture, etc) and micro venture capital (economical capital,human capital, social capital) jointly determine Entrepreneur’ sopportunity awareness, decision support, fund-raising ability,organizational management and marketing capabilities, which is theindirect decision mechanism of business level. Migrant workers’entrepreneurial level transformation mechanism is as follows, on the onehand, venture capital increase is the key to rural migrant workers’business level conversion, entrepreneurs must strive to improve their ownventure capital in the entrepreneurial process (especially the humancapital) and achieve a virtuous circle of capital. On the other hand,through the provision of policy resources and advocating socialorganization’s support to help migrant workers make up the lack ofventure capital, realize the effective interaction betweenentrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial capital, promote thetransformation of the venture capital,to improve business environment.Based on the decision and transformation mechanisms of migrant workers’entrepreneurship in cities, the author carded the national and localentrepreneurial policy to analysis the existing problems ofentrepreneurial policy. Finally, the author put forward corresponding countermeasures to government, social organizations and migrant workers,in order to help migrant workers to achieve the transformation andimprovement of migrant workers’ entrepreneurial level.
