Fawer Automotive Parts Limited Company was established on September9th,1998,which was a large company for manufacturing and saling auto parts in China. Itsmain products include chassis,environment, braking,driving, Steering&safety, engineaccessory and electric system. It had cooperated with many famous auto parts makers in theworld like DENSO (Japan), TRW(USA),ZF(Germany)and Thyssenkrupp(Germany).Fawer Automotive Parts Limited Company has significantly changed recently.First,itaccomplished its “auxiliary business separation”reform, then it landed on the capitalmarket and become a listed company. The fundamental change make high and urgentrequest for the company’s future developing strategy.In quite a long time, Fawer, like other state-owned companies, was controlled by thesystem. The rigid mind and bad technology innovation made market share decline every year.After the reform, our company had made great changes in many aspects like humanresources, equipment, technology, etc. It also need a sustainable strategic plan to integratethose resources,and meet the requirement of the board and management team.This article’s background is Fawer,it makes a detailed analyze on both the externalenvironment and the internal environment. By dissecting politics and laws,economy,societyand culture,technology,etc,we list our strength and weakness, as well as opportunities andthreats we are facing. In choosing the competitive strategy, we focus on differentiationstrategy, assisted by cost leadership strategy. With system construction, market development,personal cultivation and culture build, the strategy can be realized smoothly.
