Since reform and opening up, Chinese textile industry has experienced frombarren to rich. It also builds a batch of successful clothing brands. Although Chinahas as long as five thousand years of cultural history, it failed to developworld-famous clothing brands. At present, Chinese market economy has rapidlydeveloped and people’s living standards have improved gradually. At the same time,consumers’ attitudes are changing. Consumers are more interested in brands.Nowadays, a growing number of international clothing brands are entering into theChinese market. It causes stronger competition of local brands, so speeding up thedevelopment of local brands is extremely urgent.As the percent of UNIQLO, ZARA, H&M and other foreign Specialty retailerof Private label Apparel companies in the international market, the stores and salesin China continues to become larger, it caused a great impact to the Chinese clothingmarket. Therefore, the capacity of fast fashion bands to supply products efficiently ismore and more important and there are also many domestic studies of rapid responsesystem. At present, many domestic enterprises has imported SPA mode, but there isfew successful cases. It is because most domestic garment enterprises funds and staffare limited, so it cannot imitate ZARA’s management system successfully. The mainreason why the domestic brands cannot overcome the fast fashion brand abroad isthat they cannot fully understand the essence of SPA and how to improve theirsituation by connect with SPA core.This paper studies the theory, the essence, the characteristics and the core ofSPA mode in current Chinese clothing market and analyses the differences betweenSPA mode and traditional mode. This paper puts forward some suggestions based onthese differences to resolve the problems which exist in the development of Chineseclothing brands. This paper shows the improved results after importing SPA mode.Four parts are discussed in this research: (1) Studying the current situation of Chinese clothing market and thedevelopment of abroad SPA companies using by reading a large number ofliteratures and news information. Doing some related researches on theories of SPAmode and understanding the concept, characteristics, essence and core of SPA modewhich is the theoretical foundation for later discussion.(2) Summarizing the problems in the development process of private labelapparel. Analyzing reform measures of abroad SPA enterprise and comparing SPAmode with traditional mode. Importing SPA mode and improving the developmentsituation of domestic private label apparel with the SPA mode.(3) Finding the problems of brand A in the development process andintroducing the methods to resolve the problems during the internship period.(4) Contrasting the results of brand A before and after importing SPA modeconcluding orders and sale in Wuhan to prove the correctness and scientificity ofSPA mode.
