With the rise of the network technology, electronic commerce as a new way totrade into the people’s production and life, since1999, the country’s postal service tothe electronic commerce as a major development strategy, since the construction anddevelopment of postal e-commerce business system. The postal electronic commerceas a new form in production and management, means that the traditional postalbusiness e-commerce, and e-commerce businesses need new derivatives, this not onlymarks the China post with the development of e-commerce market trend, also meetthe demand of current customers by mail, promote universal postal service. By speedup the development of electronic commerce, postal enterprise resource integration andbusiness restructuring, speed up transformation of enterprise management mode,innovative products and services, visible, postal enterprises to develop e-commerce isthe enterprise production technology, management and business model change.Therefore, this article first from the concept of e-commerce, from the study ofdomestic and international postal e-commerce theory, further deepen theunderstanding of the postal electronic commerce, this article provides a solidtheoretical basis.Secondly, the author in jilin province postal service, for example, the developmentof jilin postal enterprises, e-commerce business development present situation, thebusiness general situation, the platform construction and management system weredescribed in detail.
