Research On Construction Of Process Bank In The Hunan Branch Of Bank Of China

The concept and theory of process bank derive from the business process reengineering theory. Its focus is to fundamentally rethink and thoroughly reengineer the business process, make the relevant elements of modern enterprise improve greatly and enhance their competitive capability, so as to best adapt to the operating environment of the modern economy which is characterized by competition and changes. Process bank and bank reengineering is the application and deepening of business process reengineering theory in banking industry.Taking Hunan branch of Bank of China as the research object and achievements of research and application at home and abroad for reference, the paper has made in-depth analysis and research on present situation and problems of the bank, using advanced management ideas and methods such as lean management theory and six sigma theory. It has discussed and thinked about the sustainable development of enterprises, mainly focused on the construction of process bank culture. It considered completely the role IT played in the construction of process bank and how to make IT work effectively. It has also put forward operational basic ideas of the construction of process bank. It has provided scheme design of construction path, mode and keys of operation and safeguard measures about the construction of process bank, which include business process redesign, business process optimization, business process innovation, organizational structure remodeling and perfection of the management system. Because the research and application of the construction of process bank in our country started relatively late and there are only a few articles which use a single sample as the research object, this paper which has studied process bank construction in Hunan branch of Bank of China using thoeries and methods of management has certain enlightening significance.Along with our country’s banking reform going on step by step, the construction of process bank represents the general trend. This paper can provide guidance for the Hunan branch of Bank of China to efficiently carry out the construction of process bank. At the same time, it has a certain reference value for the exploration of construction of process bank in banking industry of China.
