In recent years,the cross-border E-commerce shows a strong growth momentum,countries attach great importance to the E-commerce of the international trade in thecurrent.SMEs focusing on international trade can quickly react to the market and have a betterunderstanding of the demand of the world through the Internet.This also helps enlarge theiroversea market and increase their chances of international trade.The use of cross-borderE-commerce in the company not only reduces its transaction cost but also has advantages onprices in international competition.Therefore,the cross-border E-commerce has beendeveloping quickly in SMEs.As internet evolves,the constituent elements of theenterprises’competitiveness have changed.With the development of cross-border E-commerce,the gradual changes have taken on enterprise’s operation mode,business philosophy,organizational structure etc.Therefore,it is not appropriate to study the competitiveness ofinternational business enterprises if out of e-commerce.This paper first starts from the background and signficance,reviews the cross-borderE-commerce and on research related to the competitiveness of enterprises at home andabroad,and introduces the meaning of competitiveness of enterprises,and having theoreticalanalysis about the competitiveness of SMES effected by the cross-border E-commercecombined with five forces model of Porter,then have respectively analysis about theconsititution of enterprises competitiveness according to the traditional economic environmentand the cross-border E-commerce environment.Also describes the development status quo ofcross-border e-commerce and the applications of B2B e-commerce for SMEs.Because of mostof scholars attributed competitiveness of enterprises impacted by e-commerce to customers,information, technology,credit and so on,in addition,combined with new features ofcross-border e-commerce.And on this basis,to build evaluation index of the competitiveness ofSMEs under cross-border e-commerce environment,to decide the main factor of theenterprises competitiveness with factor analysis method.In the evaluation index buildingprocess,includes internet marketing capabilities,international e-payment capabilities,international e-customs capabilities,etc. to reflect the level of enterprise e-businessindicators,through a comprehensive evaluate analysis of the enterprise comes rankings ofprovinces,it provides important basis for the of the competitiveness of SMEs.Finally, proposes constraint factors based on the development of cross-border E-commerce and makessuggestions.
