The potential and hope of local economic development lies in the development of private economy.Based on how to speed up the local private economy development, the paper overviews the local private economy using the literature research and investigation method at first, then carries out the questionnaire in the selection part of private enterprises with questionnaire survey method. According to in-depth survey and the questionnaire survey on the status of private economy, the writer finds out that the issues of Panjin private economy development focus on the irrationality of external environment, overreliance on resources and self development of enterprises.
