Due to historical reasons, China’s grain price has always remained low level, in such cases, economic shocks which caused by economic development and the increase of labor cost has lead to the rise of opportunity costs for food processing enterprises, all kinds of enterprises realize this market prospect and begin to occupy the market share, with invariant market capacity and demand, rice processing enterprises supply function changes, resulting in the intense competition in the whole rice market. The original passive order development mode of D company can no longer be adapt to the variable market situations.The paper is to study the competitive strategy as the main content. Starting from the current operating situation of the company, considering the change of international and domestic environment and the evolution of enterprise competition strategy theories, the paper analyses the competitors and chooses the sales statistics of Dalian, Shandong, and Henan rice market and makes comparison, with the help of SWOT model, YiHai and ZhongDao benchmarking data, the paper finds out the competitive advantage of D company. Meanwhile, based on the Nelson detection data, field investigation and the company internal methods, the paper locates the problems of enterprise development and provides the solutions. At last, the paper also summarizes the strategy of D company for the next5years:focus on the sales in the domestic markets and promote the development of export markets, rely on the high quality rice processing, become the first-class domestic rice processing enterprise through leap style development, Set YiHai as the benchmarking target realize the differentiation strategy based on leading total cost strategy.This paper has not only reference with other company in the common areas, but also has reference with the other enterprises to establishing competitive strategies.
