Research On Application And Optimization Of Shenyang Jinbei Johnson’s New Product Development Process

Project management is a hot topic in today’s global research, and it has been widely used in automotive industry. But there is still big gap in project management level compared with foreign countries. The problems of project management are occurred frequently in the process of project development, which even led to project failure. Therefore, the project management research is very important and practical significant for relevant domestic enterprises. Through the project management theory research, in combination with the practical situation of the company, about the problems which Shenyang Jinbei Johnson (SJJ) company project management system can’t effectively carry out, Stage-Gate project management method has been analyzed deeply. Project management optimization method proposed for SJJ has been proven in a car seat G38project.This thesis mainly studies from the following aspects:At first, the concept of project management and development history was elaborated, and the characteristics of project management was summarized; Secondly, the’Stage Gate’Project management method has been analyzed deeply, and reasons that SJJ company project management system can’t be effectively executed according to project PLUS flow were stated.The research, against the issue that the project management system for the SJJ can’t be effectively executed according to projects PLUS process, combined with the actual situation of the project management system, analyzes how to effectively promote the project management, put forward the project management system improvement method and introduces’Stage-Gate’, which will combine project management with plus process smoothly. Project organization structure was changed from the original system of weak matrix to strong matrix, and the project manager rights were improved and provide the guarantee of the smooth project.Background of G38project was introduced and the role of SDT in the project was analyzed. Through G38project, it verifies the feasibility of the project management system improvement method. Finally, the role of project management system in the G38project was summarized.
